My Very First Post!

Hello world!

I thought that was a pretty fitting way to mark my beginning as a web developer. Anyway, this is my first blog post in this personal website/blog! Looking back, I remember that the road that led up to this point was not easy; I had to teach myself the in's and out's of web development and pick up new skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and web dev frameworks. I had taken several courses in both UC Berkeley and UCSB in which I learned the fundamentals of CS and completed many interesting course projects, but this was the first time where I put in hard hours to learn new skills.

So why web development? I wanted to be able to create something practical and leave a mark on the world at the same time. Granted, this personal website may not have a tremendous mark on the world, but this is just the first step toward greater things.

Anyway, so begins my journey as a developer. Now let's get out there and slay some dragons/unexpected bugs!
